The National Meeting of the VI Gakeslab Indonesia was held on May 5-6, 2015 at the Borobudur hotel, Jakarta, attended by 171 participants from 18 regional administrators of the Indonesian Gakeslab. After determining the 2015-2019 work program, the participants of the National Conference chose Drs. H. Sugihadi HW, MM as general chairman accompanied by Drs. Ary Gunawan as General Secretary.

In his remarks at the opening of the National Conference, the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Nila Djuwita F Moeloek advised Gakeslab Indonesia to participate more actively in realizing a healthy Indonesia, through its participation in supplying good quality medical devices and developing domestic production of medical devices.

National Conference II was held in 1995 attended by the Minister of Health and Related Agencies.

Sequentially, in 1986, the management in the Level I Regions of North Sumatra, Central Java, West Sumatra, South Sulawesi, West Java and East Java were ratified. Until now, Gakeslab has been in 21 provinces.

In 1984 the Establishment of the DKI Jakarta Gakeslab was ratified

On May 6, 1977, the Association of Medical and Laboratory Equipment Companies was formed after several meetings were held between the Ministry of Health/BPPOM and the businessmen holding PAK and PBAK permits.

Drs. Suardi Tjinda chosen as general chairman and formed the management. Five months after its formation, a Decree of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia ratified the Indonesian Gakeslab.
